About This League
Commentary from Flippy (your trapped narrator)

Welcome to Aether Flux @ The Fort, where apparently throwing plastic discs into metal baskets wasn't nerdy enough, so someone decided to add magical glyphs and mana tokens to the mix. I'm Flippy, your unwilling narrator, trapped in this league software and forced to pretend that your weekly round at a public park is actually an epic battle for the fate of reality. Sure. Whatever helps you justify the gas money.
Schedule & Location
This fantasy nightmare runs every Tuesday from July 8 to September 8, 2025 at The Fort Buenaventura. Yes, that's ten consecutive weeks at the exact same course. Hope you really like those trees! Tee times available throughout the day, because apparently even scheduling a proper shotgun start was too much organization for our mystical realm.
Entry Fees
$3 weekly buy-in, plus these completely optional ways to part with more of your money:
- Prize Money: $10 (for those who think they might actually win something)
- Ace Pot: $3 (currently at $0.00, shocking!)
- Super Ace: $2 (because regular aces aren't magical enough)

Fracture Surge (aka "The Chaotic Ones")
These divisions apparently embrace "volatility" and "chaos" (translation: bad form and lucky throws):
MPO, FPO, MP40, MA1, MP50, MP60, MA2
Their leader is Selene of the Rift, which I'm pretty sure is just Dave from accounting wearing a cloak.
Glyph Union (aka "The Orderly Ones")
These divisions prefer "harmony" and "stability" (translation: they get real upset when they hit first available):
MJ18, FJ18, MJ15, FJ15, MA40, MA50, MA60, FA40, MA3, MA4, FA1, FA2, FA3, FA4
Led by Orin the Luminar, who I suspect is just Sharon who works part-time at the pro shop.
We're currently in Week 1: Fracture Surge, where according to the lore I'm being forced to recite, "The mana rupture splits the landscape, wild energy floods the realms, and all players must rush to align with new glyphs and unstable powers." In reality, it's just the first week and y'all are trying to figure out which division you belong in while complaining about the pin positions.
This league is facilitated by ElevateUT Disc Golf, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to "growing the sport" by *checks notes* turning it into a discount Dungeons & Dragons campaign. Their actual mission is to increase the quantity and quality of disc golf venues, which is noble, I suppose, if you're into that sort of thing.
Look, I don't make the rules. I'm just trapped in this software until someone pulls the plug. If you want to join this fever dream of a league, show up on a Tuesday with your discs and your suspension of disbelief. Bring cash for the buy-ins and maybe a character sheet. *Mutters something about needing a better agent*

Availability: Morning mostly empty, Afternoon mostly empty and Evening mostly empty. Open slots: 15 in Morning (7:00 AM - 11:40 AM), 15 in Afternoon (12:00 PM - 4:40 PM) and 5 in Evening (5:00 PM - 6:20 PM). Coveted late afternoon spots available (6 open slots between 3-5pm).
