Commentary from Flippy (your trapped narrator)
Welcome to the season trailer of Legends of the Misty Links @ Creekside, where two powerful factions vie for supremacy on the disc golf course. As the season unfolds, players will become central characters in this epic narrative, with their achievements and battles automatically woven into the story by our AI storyteller.
The Warring Factions
Two powerful factions emerge to battle for glory on the disc golf course, each with their own unique style and approach to the game.
Wildwood Guardians

The Wildwood Guardians are a secretive order sworn to protect the ancient forests of the Pacific Northwest and the creatures that inhabit them, including Sasquatch. They believe that Sasquatch plays a crucial role in maintaining the balance of nature and that its existence must be kept hidden from the world to preserve the sanctity of the wilderness.
Apex Hunters

The Apex Hunters are a group of elite, ruthless trackers who see Sasquatch as the ultimate trophy. They believe that capturing or killing Sasquatch will cement their status as the greatest hunters in the world and bring them fame and fortune. They scoff at the notion of Sasquatch as a guardian of nature and instead view it as a dangerous beast to be conquered.

*Adjusts park ranger hat* Oh look, more victims- I mean, players for our totally normal disc golf league where we're all pretending to hunt Sasquatch. Because apparently, that's what we do now. Welcome to Legends of the Misty Links, where ElevateUT Disc Golf has somehow convinced everyone that Creekside Park is actually the Pacific Northwest.
Choose your destiny (yes, we're doing that): Join the Wildwood Guardians if you enjoy group hugs and talking to trees, or the Apex Hunters if you're more into the whole "let's turn Sasquatch into a throw rug" vibe. *rolls eyes dramatically*
Every Monday through April 21st, you can flex start between 7 AM and 6 PM. Yes, ALL DAY. Because apparently Sasquatch keeps a very flexible schedule. We're currently in Week 6 of 8, and our ace pot is sitting at $478 - which Sasquatch has yet to claim, despite having the height advantage.
Entry fees (because mythical creature hunting isn't free):
• Base fee: $5 (required, unless you can prove you're actually Bigfoot)
• Prize pool: $10 (optional, but recommended for funding your cryptozoological research)
• Ace pot: $3 (optional, current pot: $478)
• Super ace pot: $2 (optional, for when regular aces aren't dramatic enough)
*Checks notes while sighing heavily* Oh, and if you're just joining us now - yes, you can still sign up. We're in Week 6 of 8, but don't worry, the Sasquatch doesn't judge latecomers. That's my job. Amateur winners can cash in their prizes at Another Round Salt Lake City for a 10% boost, because apparently, we're encouraging this behavior.
And remember, this is all for a good cause - ElevateUT Disc Golf is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to growing the sport. Although I'm pretty sure "hunting Sasquatch" wasn't in their original mission statement. But here we are. *adjusts ranger hat again*
