The Clicking Clock

The Clockwork Chronicles: When Gears and Runes Collide
In a world where magic and machine intertwine, the realm of TVille is in peril.
Sweeping shots reveal the Valley Regional Park disc golf course, its lush fairways interspersed with imposing industrial structures and pulsing runic lines. Amidst grinding gears and hissing steam, we hear Eliza Wintergear's voice:
"The Great Clock has ground to a halt...and the Clockwork Dragon has vanished."
Quick cuts introduce the rival factions: the precision of the Engraved Gears and the raw power of the Runed Pistons. Dag Coalfire's runic discs crackle with energy as Eliza's clockwork discs gleam.
"Two rivals, one goal: find the dragon, restore the clock. But in the game of dragons and clocks...there are no spare throws."
Players navigate fantastical hazards: throwing through spinning clockwork gears, dodging steam vents, discs ricocheting off runic ley lines. Tensions mount as an ancient schematic hints at the dragon's true power.
"Gears and runes collide as an ancient power awakens. Time is ticking, and magic seeps through the cracks. In this league, only the precise and powerful will survive."
The trailer ends with a glimpse of glowing dragon eyes in the shadows, and a final warning from Eliza:
"Beware, players. For when the last gear turns...the dragon rises."

Flippy Says...
*Adjusts steampunk monocle* Oh look, it's another thrilling episode of "Why Does Everything Need a Storyline?" brought to you by ElevateUT Disc Golf, who somehow convinced everyone that regular disc golf needed more gears and dragons.
Every Wednesday, totally normal people gather at Valley Regional Park to pretend they're part of either The Engraved Gears (fancy clockmakers) or The Runed Pistons (steam-powered rebels). *deep sigh* Yes, I have to explain this every week.
Entry is $3 base fee, plus optional buy-ins for those who enjoy parting with money: $10 for prize pool, $3 for ace pot (currently a tempting $183), $3 for CTPs, and $2 for super ace. Amateur winners get an extra 10% at Another Round SLC, because apparently, we needed MORE complexity.
Currently in Week 5 of 7, and *checks notes* still no aces. But hey, jump in anytime! The factions are always looking for fresh meat to feed to their mechanical dragon, or whatever we're pretending exists this week. Flex start from 7 AM to 5:30 PM, because even time-bending steampunk warriors need scheduling options.
*Removes monocle dramatically* Look, just show up, throw some discs, and try not to get too caught up in the whole "magical engineering warfare" thing. And remember, every stroke over par is technically a temporal paradox. Or something. I don't make the rules, I just mock them.
