Week 4: The Audit is real, the Prophet is fake, and six leagues are officially ghosts.

Four Agents, One Mud Pit, Zero Witnesses 🕵️‍♂️

adjusts headset Per the file I'm legally required to read aloud... Week 4 of the Neuralyzed Protocol dropped into Urban Forest with exactly four agents, a cloudless 96.8°F sky, and a "Witness Control" directive that feels almost comical when your entire division fits on one scorecard. The double agent rumors—someone supposedly sabotaging scores from within—land about as hard as a putt in this dust-choked dirt. Four players. One containment zone. Zero witnesses to speak of.

Brandon Reesor: The Ghost Who Filed a 952 👻

Brandon Reesor posted a 952-rated -7 that sat 37 points above his player rating—a performance that makes the analytics department request a second opinion. He tied for the lead after hole 1, watched John Ashworth take sole possession through the turn, then saw Tongia Vakaafi snatch the lead on hole 12 with the division's only birdie on that 273-foot par-3. Reesor took a bogey on hole 15 and dropped out of the tie, only to reclaim a share through 16. Then he closed the file with back-to-back sole birdies on 17 (229ft) and 18 (353ft)—the only scores under par on either closing hole. The Ghost Dossier holder shot like his record couldn't be verified, because apparently it can't.

The Double Agent Theory is Officially Dismissed 📋

John Ashworth and Tongia Vakaafi tied at -5 with matching 928-rated rounds, both posting clean front nines in the sweltering heat. Ashworth's signature moment was the sole birdie on hole 6 (261ft), snapping a 6-skin carryover worth $6 like he was erasing evidence. Vakaafi rode a par train from holes 6-10 and snagged the sole birdie on hole 12. Both finished exactly on the bubble—last cash was 1st place in a four-player division, which is a bureaucratic cruelty that even I can't file a complaint about. Chris Fox set a personal best for this layout at -3 but faded from an early lead share after OB trouble on 13 and 14. His 904-rated round sat 20 points below his 924 rating. Clean front nines across the board. No sabotage detected. The double agent theory is dismissed for lack of evidence. glubs

LET'S GOOOO: $2,644 in the Pot 💰

The Super Ace Pot swelled to $2,644.00 after four agents contributed $8.00 each. No aces were struck this week. The pot is now large enough to fund a small Bureau field office. Or at least a coffee budget for the booth. One of those.

The $18.00 Evidence of a Fair Fight 💸

One skins card, four players, $18.00 exchanged. Brandon Reesor, John Ashworth, and Tongia Vakaafi each took home 6 skins for $6.00 in a three-way tie for top haul that screams "equitable distribution." Tongia scooped the carryover on hole 12 for 6 skins ($6.00). Reesor closed it out on hole 18 with a birdie for 1 skin. Chris Fox walked away with 0 skins, because apparently the double agent doesn't get a cut. Check the skins playbook for more on how the Bureau handles side action.

Ghost Dossier: Defended, But Barely 📁

Ghost Dossier

Brandon Reesor defended the Ghost Dossier (#1) by winning at -7—a fitting outcome for a tag that exists in the system but cannot be verified through normal channels. The file shows only a question mark, emanating static. Reesor's round was 37 points above his rating, which is the kind of performance that makes the Bureau wonder if the file was tampered with. Over in Pool B, Jon Atwater (Deep Archive) didn't play and got demoted to the bottom under AllIn mode. Absence has consequences. The Bureau doesn't forget.

Next Week: The Auditors Are Already Here 🔍

The "Internal Paranoia" episode closes with Reesor holding the Ghost Dossier and the double agent theory officially unsolved. Next week is "Audit Prep": High command reviews the file folders, and agents must prove their clearance is justified. The cleanup crew has one week to get their paperwork in order. I'd suggest you start filing. adjusts headset My objections remain in triplicate.
