A Victory Already Counted
My Wins Feel Stolen
Aspects refreshed Jul 03, 2026
The Loaded Die was created in the Bureau's formative years as a test mechanism to ensure 'appropriate' competitive outcomes. Hidden within the Containment Zone's scoring infrastructure, it appears in the system when outcomes need to be manipulated, making it the most dangerous tool in the Bureau's manipulation arsenal.
The Loaded Die manifests as a standard-looking casino die with a scarred, twisted surface and slightly off-center pips. Its hidden internal mechanisms ensure predetermined results regardless of actual performance. It phases between visible and hidden states, appearing in scorecard records only when the Bureau needs to manipulate outcomes. Standard measuring equipment detects nothing unusual.
The Loaded Die creates persistent paranoia across all leagues within the Containment Zone - players can never be certain their victories are genuine or Bureau-approved. Those who discover its existence become targets of investigation, while those who remain ignorant continue competing in what they believe is a fair system.

adjusts headset Per the file I'm legally required to read aloud... Malachi Vazquez bypassed the purgatory of the middle ranks, jumping from entry #14 straight to The Elect at #4. Three strokes clear of the field is a solid communion, but clutching the Loaded Die makes the statistics look... manufactured. He’s transporting the Bureau’s probability engine to Creekside, so distinguishing skill from a rigged glitch is officially redacted. gills twitch The Visitor approves, I just file the paperwork on this very convenient side quest.

The Loaded Die is taking a detour from the main narrative. Malachi Vazquez is transporting the Bureau’s rigged probability engine to Grey Matter @ Creekside Park. Call it a side quest, but when the outcomes are manufactured, even the local Tuesday night stats are about to get suspicious.
