🎉 COURSE FUND VICTORY 🎉
We did it! The Art Dye basket sleeve end cap project is fully funded at $119. While you were all pretending to save a fictional course from fictional developers, you actually funded real improvements to the actual course.
*sighs in training montage* This is the part where I'm supposed to get emotional about community effort. Fine. You maniacs actually built something permanent. That's... legitimately cool.
Week 9: Purple Triumph — The finale has arrived, and somehow you're all still here.
*adjusts leather jacket reluctantly* Look, I've been contractually upgraded with this 80s action movie DLC, which means I'm supposed to deliver a rousing speech about perseverance and teamwork. But here's the thing: you spent nine weeks playing disc golf while acting out a musical drama about saving Art Dye from developers who don't exist. The training montage is over. The storm has passed. Time for one last round before the credits roll.
The Purple Chain Story (In Case You Forgot)
Chain Prince discovered demolition notices. Started Friday night glow-round concerts. Mojo Steele showed up to steal his thunder (and his catchphrase). Betrayal was revealed. Storm hit during the finale. Everyone played by flashlight. Redemption happened. The course was saved.
Also the course fund got fully funded, which is the part that actually matters.

- Format: Flex start with tee times from 7:00 AM to 6:20 PM
- This Week: Art Dye Disc Golf Park (Reel Lines Series layout)
- Season Rotation: Started at Art Dye, spent 6 weeks at Dragonfly, back at Art Dye for finale (Weeks 8-9)

About That Ace Pot Guarantee
The ace pot is guaranteed at a $50 minimum by ElevateUT Disc Golf (the league platform—not Birdcage Disc Golf, who are awesome local retail partners but not the guarantors). Here's how it works:
- The displayed pot can look "stuck" at $50 early in the week until player contributions exceed the guarantee
- If someone hits an ace and the pot is below $50, ElevateUT tops it up to the minimum
- Any guarantee top-up is credited to the winner's Bonus Account (usable for registration, not withdrawable to PayPal or disc shops)
- Player contributions always go to the winner as cash/credit as normal
Translation: The pot won't drop below $50, but it might not grow visibly until contributions exceed that threshold. Math is weird. Guarantees are helpful.

Across the Reel Lines Series, Brian Hansen (RPA) leads with a staggering 1,024 points over 52 events. That's not just playing disc golf—that's committing to the cinematic universe. Respect.
In RAD, Chris Fox holds the top spot with 683 points. RAE sees Corry Johnson leading at 322 points. Multiple tight races across divisions as we head into finale week.
Last Week: Flashlight Chains
36 players showed up for the blackout episode. When the power died, you all held up phone flashlights and kept playing. Peak disc golf energy.
Clayton Rackham hit an ace and walked away with $110. In the dark. While everyone was singing off-key. Legendary.
