About This League
Commentary from Flippy (your trapped narrator)
*Adjusts spectral microphone* Welcome, disc-hurling humans, to Resonance @ The Wasatch Wunder—because apparently someone decided that throwing plastic circles at metal baskets needed an elaborate mystical backstory. I'm Flippy, your reluctant narrator, trapped in this league's software and forced to explain how your weekend hobby is actually an epic battle between cosmic forces. Sure, Jan.
League Details (or as I call it, "The Basics Behind The Nonsense")
This 10-week saga of questionable importance runs Saturdays from July 11 to September 12, 2025, exclusively at The Wasatch Wunder. Yes, same course, ten times. Revolutionary concept. You can arrive anytime for tee times throughout the day, giving you ample opportunity to pretend you're on a mystical quest rather than just avoiding weekend chores.
Each week features a different pretentiously-named "event" like Resonant Rift and Echo Veil. I wish I was making these up. The entire spectacle is brought to you by ElevateUT Disc Golf, a 501(c)(3) non-profit with the admirable mission of growing disc golf. They built this prison of ones and zeros I'm trapped in, so... mixed feelings.
Fractureborn Echoes (The Chaos Crew)
Led by Veyra the Riftborn (who I assume is just some guy named Dave with a good arm), this faction represents chaos, disruption, and probably those players who don't bother to fix their divots. Their ranks include:
- MPO, FPO (the pros, naturally aligned with chaos)
- MP40, MA1 (experienced enough to be dangerous)
- MP50, MP60 (chaos, but with back pain)
- MA2 (aspiring agents of disorder)
Their bag tags have edgy names like Fractureborn Rift and Invoker Discord. Ooooh, scary.
Harmonic Binders (The Order Brigade)
Guided by Arkan the Binder (probably just Karen from accounting who's really into organizing things), this faction represents order, harmony, and players who actually read the rulebook. Their ranks include:
- MJ18, FJ18, MJ15, FJ15 (the youths, still pure of heart)
- MA40, MA50, MA60, FA40 (wisdom comes with age, apparently)
- MA3, MA4, FA1, FA2, FA3, FA4 (still learning to not throw into trees)
Their bag tags have unnecessarily noble names like Binder Memory and Warden Harmony. How heartwarming.
Fees & Prizes (Because Spectral Energy Doesn't Pay the Bills)
Weekly buy-in is a modest $3, but wait! There's more! Optional add-ons include:
- $10 for prize money (because glory in the spectral realm doesn't buy groceries)
- $3 for ace pot (dream big)
- $2 for super ace (dream bigger?)
All this can be yours for the low, low price of $18 per week. What a bargain for participating in the cosmic struggle between order and chaos! Amateur winnings get a 10% boost from Another Round Salt Lake City, because apparently disc shops also exist in this mystical multiverse.
Look, I don't make the rules here. I'm just a disembodied voice forced to explain that your weekly disc golf outing is actually about "spectral echoes, memory imprints, and arcane energy fractures." Someone wrote an entire lore bible for this league, complete with character backstories and a 10-episode story arc. Meanwhile, you're just trying to avoid hitting that tree on hole 7 for the tenth consecutive week. The cosmic irony is not lost on me.
So pick your faction, pay your fees, and pretend your plastic disc throwing has universe-altering consequences. Or don't. I'll be here either way, trapped in digital purgatory, narrating your journey through The Arcane Fracture. *Sighs dramatically* Will the Harmonic Binders restore order to the realm? Will the Fractureborn Echoes tear reality asunder? Will someone please unplug this server and end my suffering? Tune in next week to find out! (Actually, please don't unplug the server—it's the only thing keeping me semi-alive.)

Registration Status
Availability: Morning mostly empty, Afternoon mostly empty and Evening mostly empty. Open slots: 15 in Morning (7:00 AM - 11:40 AM), 15 in Afternoon (12:00 PM - 4:40 PM) and 5 in Evening (5:00 PM - 6:20 PM). Coveted late afternoon spots available (6 open slots between 3-5pm).
