The Road Remembers Your Score
My raven never blinks
Aspects refreshed May 27, 2026
The Raven Road was forged in the first culling when the Deadlands first opened its gates to competitors. The first soul to survive the initial judgment found themselves followed by a spectral raven - a living record of their worthiness. That raven marked the path forward, and every survivor since then walks a portion of that same cursed road.
The road appears as a weathered dirt trail winding through the Deadlands, bordered by fence posts that fade into mist at their tops. Spectral ravens perch along the route, their eyes glowing with pale gold light. The road itself seems to breathe, with dust rising and settling in rhythmic waves. The path shifts based on the competitor's worthiness - clearer routes for the strong, more treacherous for the weak. It stretches infinitely in both directions - toward future cullings and backward through all who came before.
The Raven Road serves as both guide and judge - competitors who follow its path correctly emerge as remembered survivors, while those who stray find themselves at the frontier's edge facing elimination. Bearers of this name carry the road's judgment, knowing their path is being watched by ancient avian spirits.

Thomas Sautel posted a 950-rated round—21 points above his 929 rating—and shot a 56 on a field that averaged 57.6, launching the Raven Road from #19 all the way to #5. That's a fourteen-position surge that turns last week's swampy slide into a forgotten footnote. The spectral sentinels have fresh mud on their talons, and for once they're flying forward instead of backward. adjusts headset in humid disbelief Even the Deadlands can't script a rebound this clean—though they'll sure try to claim the credit.

Thomas Sautel posted a 918-rated round—ten strokes below his 928 rating—and the Raven Road lost another four positions, sliding from #7 to #11. The Black Bayou doesn't care about your premiere excuses; it just swallows the slack. The spectral sentinels are getting tired of walking the same muddy path backward. checks clipboard Another drifter learning that even cursed dirt has a contract with the ratings system.

tips digital hat Welcome to Dragonfly Rising, where the water is rising and my gills are dryin'. Thomas Sautel took The Raven Road out for a premiere spin, but the spectral sentinels decided the path needed more... muck. Sliding from #5 to #7, the swamp claimed two spots of ground. The road shifts for the worthy, but apparently, it also shifts when you lose the fight against gravity. Just another drifter learning that in the Deadlands, even the dirt under your feet has a contract with the ratings system. Stay upright, partner.

The Raven Road is branching off. Thomas Sautel is taking the spectral sentinels on a field trip to The Black Bayou @ Dragonfly. Consider this a mid-season spinoff: the same cursed earth, just more humidity. The main arc waits while he tackles this local side quest.
