Commentary from Flippy (your trapped narrator)
*Adjusts name tag reading "Trapped Narrator"* Welcome to Chains of the Chupacabra, where ElevateUT Disc Golf presents the most ironic adventure ever: hunting a mythical jungle beast at a course that's basically a desert. Funny thing is that it's a jungle theme, but there's no trees at Bingham Creek. There's not even any grass. Just dirt and weeds. But hey, who needs actual foliage when you have imagination, right?
Every Tuesday, brave souls can choose their own doom... I mean, tee time (7am-6pm) at Bingham Creek. We're currently in Week 5: "River of Blood" *stifles laugh* which is basically a dry creek bed with some empty energy drink cans.
Choose your faction: Shadowmane Hunters (the "good guys" who probably own every season of Supernatural) or Blood Moon Acolytes (for those who think Twilight needed more disc golf). Both pools play Bingham Creek's A-Pool layout, because nothing says "ancient jungle temple" like wide-open desert fairways.
Entry is $5 base fee (apparently mythical beast hunting isn't as expensive as I thought). Optional add-ons include $10 for prize money, $3 for ace pot (currently $57 - the Chupacabra must be guarding those chains well), and $2 for super ace pot. The Sports Connection offers 10% boost for amateur winnings, because even monster hunters need a good pro shop.
Late joiners? Oh, please come! We're only on Week 5 of 8 in this *checks notes* "epic saga." And between you and me, the Chupacabra could use some fresh targets... I mean, players.
*Whispers* Look, I don't make the rules, I just narrate them. But if you're going to join this glorified game of hide-and-seek with an imaginary blood-sucking beast, at least bring sunscreen. There's literally no shade here.
