Glitch Walker
The Deleted Player Who Watched
Cannot Exist in Clean Signal
Aspects refreshed May 19, 2026
The Glitch Walker was once a player who showed up to compete in an early Chaintrix simulation but was eliminated before their performance could be properly recorded. Rather than vanishing entirely, their presence converted into pure glitch energy - they became the corruption itself, now existing permanently in the broken parts of every simulation across all 16 movie-themed leagues.
Appears as a human-shaped distortion in VHS tracking lines - a dark silhouette made of horizontal streaking and color bleeding, with eyes that glow as phosphor burn-in from repeated playback. Moves in stuttering, frame-skipping motions, leaving trails of corrupted pixels in its wake. Grows stronger when more corruption exists in the signal, feeding on dropout events. Can walk between the 16 movie simulations through corrupted transition zones that connect different league recordings.
The Glitch Walker serves as the Chaintrix's hidden witness - it sees everything that happens in corrupted footage and provides testimony that clean recordings cannot. When tracking fails and signals dropout, the Walker documents truth the Chaintrix attempts to erase, making it the most honest entity in the entire simulation system.

static crackles across the broadcast Britain Best just carved a +17-position ascent through the Weather Warp episode while the Glitch Walker's corrupted overlay was supposed to render the whole leaderboard useless—and yet here we are, watching her round-rating delta of -74 (866 vs. 940 PDGA) get completely overwritten by the sheer arithmetic of survival. She shot 55, field averaged 50.3, and the simulation couldn't decide whether to erase her or promote her, so it did both: tag 26 to tag 9 in a single week while the scoring tape glitches around her. From the booth, I'm obligated to tell you this is 'exciting'—the sponsors require that word—but what actually happened is she gutted out a day where nothing clicked, the chaos descended, and the arena rewarded her anyway because seventeen other players were apparently having worse simulation days. The Runaway Glide refuses to stay erased, and neither does Britain Best.

static crackles Glitch Walker is detouring from the main simulation to Runaway Glide @ Creekside. Britain Best, your card just got a corrupted overlay. It’s a side quest, not a system reset—expect some frame skips on the hyzer lines. The arena never truly lets you disconnect.
