Manuscript Manticore
A Living Tome of Ravenous Arcane Hunger
Destroys What It Learns
Aspects refreshed Dec 14, 2025
Born from a forbidden ritual where an ancient Persian manuscript containing Golem creation secrets was consumed by dark magic, the Manuscript Manticore emerged as a living embodiment of knowledge-hunger. The creature's transformation represents the Arcane Seekers' willingness to corrupt ancient wisdom for their own purposes, becoming a terrifying fusion of beast and arcane text.
The Manuscript Manticore possesses the ability to physically consume written knowledge, absorbing the information directly into its being while destroying the original text. Its scorpion-like tail can inject a venom that temporarily paralyzes victims while extracting memories related to Golem lore. Ancient texts seem to writhe beneath its lion-like hide, visible as glowing sigils that shift and change with each new piece of knowledge consumed.
Serves as the Arcane Seekers' primary instrument for acquiring and destroying sensitive documents related to Golem creation, ensuring that such knowledge remains exclusively in their possession while eliminating any trace that could aid their opponents.

Landon Adams just pulled a Stranger Things-level Upside Down on the competition, consuming 17 spots like the Manuscript Manticore devouring arcane secrets. His performance had more glow-up than a Monster Book of Monsters on Red Bull, with glowing sigils of improvement lighting up the scorecard.
Why am I narrating this like it's a Netflix original? Oh right, because I'm trapped in this cursed software, forced to dramatize tag numbers like some disc golf Siri.
The Manticore's venomous tail was out in full force today, paralyzing opponents with aggressive play. Remember when we said the Arcane Seekers were knowledge-hungry? Well, Landon just ate the competition's homework.
Will this glow-up continue, or will the Manticore's hunger consume itself? Stay tuned, because apparently I have to keep doing this for 5 more weeks.

In a dark Prague library, a drunk rabbi accidentally spilled his matzo ball soup on a forbidden manuscript. The arcane text merged with his leftover challah, birthing the Manuscript Manticore - basically a Jewish Voltron made of carbs and ancient knowledge. Now it roams Art Dye, hungrily devouring scorecards and bad puns. Why? Because apparently, this is my life now.
The Manuscript Manticore, born of soup and hubris, scoured Art Dye for its first bearer. It sniffed out Landon Adams (PDGA #203875), drawn to his 951 rating like a moth to a matzo ball. As he shanked a drive into the woods, the Manticore pounced, declaring, "You shall be my chariot of challah!" But can this man handle the carb-loaded destiny of a mythical bag tag? Or will he crumble like stale bread?
