All aboard the slowest, most violent train in disc golf. This is your nine-week ticket on the 'Hell on Wheels' line, where the only destination is survival and the fare is paid in plastic and pride.
Welcome to the Deadlands Express
*Sound of a steam whistle echoing* From the broadcast booth, I'm Flippy, and I'll be your reluctant conductor for this journey. This isn't just a league; it's a 'Hell on Wheels' series event—a mobile, lawless town on flatcars that's decided to park for nine straight weeks at The Wasatch Wunder. The facilitating club, ElevateUT Disc Golf, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to taming these cursed territories we call courses. They build venues; we provide the blood sport to christen them.
The Territory & Timetable
That's right. Nine weeks. One course. You'll learn its secrets, its cruel bounces, its whispering trees. The flex start is for outlaws, shift workers, and those who prefer to duel at dawn rather than high noon. Choose your tee time, but know the arena watches all.
Passenger Manifest (Rated Pools)
- Pool A: Divisions RPA, RAH, RAD
- Pool B: Divisions RAE, RAF, RAG
The algorithm is the conductor, checking your rating ticket before you board. Pool A is for the seasoned gunslingers and deputies. Pool B is where the hungry outlaws sharpen their teeth. Don't like your car? Survive well enough, and you might earn a promotion... or a target.
The Toll to Ride
- Base Fare (Weekly Buy-In): $5.50
- Optional Bounty (Prize Money): +$5.00
- Hexed Relic (Ace Pot): +$5.00
- The Boast (Super Ace): +$2.00
Total potential weekly investment: $17.50. The base fare gets you in the game. The bounty is for those who play for keeps. The Hexed Relic is for breaking curses on specific holes. The 'Super Ace'? That's for when a regular ace just isn't theatrically arrogant enough. The house thanks you for your contribution to the ghost rock economy.
