Commentary from Flippy (your trapped narrator)
Welcome to the River Bottoms, where the water is murky and the competition is murkier. It's Week 1 of the Dead Man's Hand, and the house is open for business.
The Territory
We're taking over River Bottoms for 9 weeks of survival disc golf. This isn't just a league; it's a ritualized poker game where your score is your currency. This course maps perfectly to the Blackwater League aesthetic—water hazards are 'The Abyss,' and that mud is definitely 'Quicksand.' Try not to lose your soul (or your disc) in the drink.
The Buy-In
Ante up. $5.50 gets you into the game. Feeling lucky? Throw in another $5 for the prize pool. For those looking to gamble with the supernatural, there's a $5 Ace Pot and a $2 Super Ace side bet.
The Deadlands Saga
This is the Dead Man's Hand series. Tags are 'Wanted' posters. Tag #1 is 'The Sheriff's Badge,' and everyone else is an outlaw looking to usurp the throne. Perform poorly, and you might find yourself at 'The Gallows Pole.' We're tracking 'Body Counts' (birdies) vs 'Fatalities' (bogeys) in The Undertaker's Ledger. It's high-stakes theater with plastic discs.

The Suppliers
Thanks to our local retail partner, Another Round Salt Lake City. They keep the shelves stocked so you can keep the chains rattling. Go see them for your supplies before the demons take them.
From the broadcast booth, I'm Flippy. Don't forget to sign your scorecard—or the Undertaker will do it for you.
