Origin Story

Forged in an ancient age when winter's grasp was absolute, the Glacial Grimoire was penned by an order of frost mages to record the prophecies and histories of their frozen realm. When the last bastion fell, the grimoire was entombed in an icy crypt and forgotten for eons, until the shifting grounds of Art Dye's hallowed course revealed its resting place.

Properties

Bound in translucent ice that refracts prismatic light, the grimoire's pages are etched in archaic runes that only become legible when caressed by winter's first frost. Its frozen form emanates a glacial chill, and those who dare open its covers are enveloped in swirling eddies of crystalline mist.

Role

The Glacial Grimoire does not grant its secrets freely, but reveals encoded lore and prophecies that guide the bearers along their path, illuminating facets of the truth when the time is right.
