Originated from Slavic spirits of unbaptized children but evolved by absorbing cryptid hunters' nightmares, becoming a hybrid entity that documents cryptid encounters throughout history through its mournful wail containing every recorded cryptid sound.

Properties

Semi-corporeal form flickering between solid and spectral states, with bioluminescent glow synced to cryptid brainwaves and a hollow chest cavity containing swirling cryptid memory fragments. Can mimic any documented cryptid call and stretches unnaturally between realms.

Role

Serves as the archivist of cryptid experiences across all regions, selectively sharing knowledge through dream visitations while collecting memories in return.
