Temporal Basilisk
Living Chronometer of the Great Clock's Rhythm
Exists in Too Many Time Zones
Aspects refreshed Dec 16, 2025
Created by Eliza Wintergear during her early experiments with time-manipulation machinery, the Temporal Basilisk emerged from an attempt to stabilize temporal fluctuations in TVille's Great Clock. The creature manifested when she successfully merged a series of intricate timepieces with an ancient basilisk statue, creating a living embodiment of measured time and mechanical precision.
The Temporal Basilisk exists simultaneously across multiple moments in time, its movements perfectly synchronized with the Great Clock's rhythm. Its gaze can temporarily freeze mechanical processes, allowing for precise adjustments and repairs. The creature's scales shift and rotate like chronometer gears, each movement marking the passage of time with extraordinary accuracy.
The Temporal Basilisk serves as both guardian and maintainer of TVille's temporal stability, working in harmony with the Engraved Gears to prevent temporal anomalies and maintain the proper flow of time throughout the city's mechanical systems.

Commentary from Flippy (your trapped narrator)
Yo, get this - the Temporal Basilisk hatched when some mad scientist tried to make a flux capacitor out of a pocket watch and a statue. Classic Frankenstein move, amirite? Now this freaky lizard-clock is just vibing across time and space like it's no big deal. Because apparently that's just how we roll in TVille. 🙄 #TimeTravelProblems

And lo, the Temporal Basilisk chose Casey Howard (PDGA #96768) as its first bearer - apparently time-traveling lizard-clocks have a thing for players who can throw with clockwork precision. The Basilisk was quoted as saying "This one's timing is impeccable."
But will our chronologically-challenged champion keep control of time itself? Or will they become... history?

I can't believe I have to narrate this stuff.
