Pending Dossier
Under Review Since Day One
Every Rival Eventually Gets Redacted
The Pending Dossier was established as the Bureau's official holding category for player records that require additional verification. When a player's documentation is flagged for deeper review—whether due to suspicious performance patterns, incomplete attendance records, or identity discrepancies—their file enters this purgatory state, existing in the digital space between clearance levels, neither fully classified nor completely unknown.
The Pending Dossier constantly updates with new evidence as the player competes, is marked with a pulsing amber status light indicating ongoing review, and contains both verified and unverified sections clearly distinguished by classification level. It can expand or contract based on Bureau interest, with suspicious activity causing the dossier to grow thicker while resolved issues cause pages to mysteriously disappear.
The Pending Dossier serves as the deciding factor for whether a player receives clearance upgrades, faces deeper investigation, or remains in bureaucratic limbo—directly affecting their access to restricted events, the Slush Fund, and financial incentives within the Containment Zone.

Commentary from Flippy (your trapped narrator)
Skyler Kunz posted an 856 round — 15 ticks below his rating — but somehow vaulted from #6 to #2 while the rest of the facility fumbled their audits. flips through the Black Box flight logs The containment zone's clearance algorithm clearly doesn't care about on-paper performance. Internal Affairs will flag this discrepancy, but as the dossier's High Concept reminds us: 'Your Scorecard Means Nothing' when the leaderboard has its own chaotic priorities.

The Pending Dossier took a -4 slide to tag #6, and I'm filing this under 'bureaucratic inevitability' rather than 'containment breach.' Skyler Kunz's round rating data is missing from the file—classic—but the scorecard tells the story: when you don't beat the field average, the leaderboard processes your regression without prejudice. The amber light is dimmer this week, but the paperwork stays open. Per protocol, I'll note that Internal Affairs is watching, but even they can't audit a blank cell.

Skyler Kunz dragged the Pending Dossier into Hangar 18 and came out with tag #2 — a +2 bump that feels more like bureaucratic survival than triumph. Round rating 882, exactly on personal average, and only 10 points above a PDGA rating that screams 'under review.' The amber light stops pulsing, but the file's still thin. adjusts headset Per the file I'm legally required to read aloud: Kunz's scorecard shows no anomaly, just a Tuesday night where the leaders decided to let someone else hold the red tape for a week.

adjusts headset The Pending Dossier just went off-script. Skyler Kunz is smuggling the file into Hangar 18 - The Fort for a classified side quest. Is this a verification audit or just a Tuesday night scramble? The amber light is pulsing, and the paperwork is expanding. Let’s see if Kunz can clear the red tape before the chains cut the feed.
