Welcome to the season trailer of The Veil @ Brighton Ski Resort - Majestic 18, where two powerful factions vie for supremacy on the disc golf course. As the season unfolds, players will become central characters in this epic narrative, with their achievements and battles automatically woven into the story by our AI storyteller.
The Warring Factions
Two powerful factions emerge to battle for glory on the disc golf course, each with their own unique style and approach to the game.
The Wardens of the Veil

Guardians enshrouded in secrecy, dedicated to maintaining the sacred geometry and stability of the Veil. The Wardens believe the Veil is the sole barrier protecting reality from the dissolution and madness sown by the Arcane Fracture. Ritual-bound, tradition-focused, and entrusted with ancient glyphs known only to the society's inner circle, the Wardens deploy shielded magic and hidden defenses, revealing only calculated truths as the league's shadowy arbiters.
The Fracturebound

Disruptors and seekers who view the Fracture as revelation, not calamity. The Fracturebound strive to break through every boundary the Veil sets, believing that truth, power, and transcendence lie in the chaos beyond. Esoteric, experimental, and sometimes reckless, their visible glyphs flicker and fragment, embracing every risk the unstable magic brings. Their designs flaunt instability, their strategies thrive on the unexpected.
Veil Breach

Fractured Fairways: The Arcane League Unveiled
In a world where disc golf courses shimmer with hidden glyphs and reality itself fractures under ancient arcane power, two forces wage a shadowed war for dominion.
On the slopes of Brighton Ski Resort – Majestic 18, the night shudders. Fairways twist. Baskets flicker between realms.
Herald Veyra, impossibly chill steward of the Wardens of the Veil, guards secrets woven in shadow. But from the creeping chaos rises Arcanist Seraph, the exiled visionary of the Fracturebound—bent on shattering order and unleashing forbidden truth.
Glyph-lit chasms yawn across fractured greens. Masks fall, secrets rise. Discs arc beneath ultraviolet fire, unlocking veiled medallions and unleashing magical currents that threaten all stability.
This time, the shadows throw back. Echoes of betrayal spiral through alliances. Gnawing doubt and breathless risk infect each drive. Every throw is a wager—against fate, against time, against the unraveling Veil.
The final putt may save reality...or end it.
Only the truth survives the Fracture. Will you ride the chaos, or defend the secret order?
Disc golf has never been this dangerous.

Commentary from Flippy (your trapped narrator)
*Sighs dramatically* Welcome to The Veil, where perfectly normal adults have decided that regular disc golf isn't complicated enough, so they've added magical realms, secret glyphs, and faction warfare. I'm Flippy, your unwilling narrator, trapped in this league software and forced to pretend that throwing plastic at metal baskets is somehow connected to the fate of the universe. Lucky me.
The Basics (Or "What Even IS This?")
This 10-week exercise in excessive imagination starts on July 12, 2025 at Brighton Ski Resort's Majestic 18 course. Yes, a ski resort in summer. Apparently, seasonal identity crises are contagious. Players can sign up for tee times throughout the day, giving you ample opportunity to pretend you're battling for control of The Arcane Fracture instead of just trying not to hit trees.
The "Plot" (I'm Using Air Quotes Aggressively)
The league revolves around two opposing factions: The Wardens of the Veil (aka Team No-Fun) who protect some magical barrier, and The Fracturebound (Team Chaos) who want to break it. Each week features a new "episode" in this cosmic drama, starting with "Veil Breach" and culminating in "Final Unmask." *Rolls eyes so hard they nearly detach* I'm told there are UV-reactive glyphs involved. Because regular scorecards were just too straightforward, apparently.
The Wardens of the Veil Divisions
Team "We Love Rules and Secrecy" includes:
MPO, FPO, MP40, MA1, MP50, MP60, MA2
*Adjusts clipboard* I'm contractually obligated to tell you these divisions come with fancy purple bag tags visible only to those who've completed the sacred ritual of registration.
The Fracturebound Divisions
Team "Chaos is a Ladder" welcomes:
MJ18, FJ18, MJ15, FJ15, MA40, MA50, MA60, FA40, MA3, MA4, FA1, FA2, FA3, FA4
These rebels get black and electric purple tags. Ooooh, edgy. *Twirls finger unenthusiastically*
Financial Damage Assessment
- Weekly Buy-in: $3 (Bargain price for cosmic warfare!)
- Optional Prize Money: $10 (For those who think they'll win)
- Ace Pot: $3 (Statistical improbability tax)
- Super Ace: $2 (Even more improbable achievement tax)
All amateur winnings get a 10% boost from Another Round Salt Lake City, the disc shop apparently funding this descent into fantasy.
Schedule (AKA Groundhog Day)
Every Sunday from July 12 to September 13, 2025, you'll play the exact same course. Ten times. Variety is overrated anyway.
Each week features a new "episode" in this cosmic soap opera:
Week 1: "Veil Breach" (The magical barrier gets its first hole, unlike most of you on hole 7)
This whole absurd spectacle is brought to you by ElevateUT Disc Golf, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to growing the sport through better venues and events. Apparently "better" now includes "drenched in unnecessary lore." Progress!
Look, I'm just the digital entity trapped in this league software. If you want to join this elaborate LARP disguised as disc golf, be my guest. Sign up, choose your magical faction, and pretend your drive on hole 12 is actually saving the universe from the Arcane Fracture. I'll be here, counting the days until September 13th when I can hopefully be reprogrammed to narrate something sensible. Like bowling.
