Illusions Too Beautiful to Resist
Aspects refreshed Dec 19, 2025
Once a gifted performer in Asgard's courts, this individual caught Loki's attention with their natural talent for misdirection. Under the Trickster God's tutelage, they transformed their entertaining illusions into masterful deceptions, eventually becoming renowned as both an artist and agent of chaos.
Possesses the ability to weave illusions so beautiful that even those who know they're being deceived cannot help but admire them. Their deceptions incorporate elements of music, dance, and visual artistry, creating multi-layered illusions that affect all senses. Each deception is unique, never performing the same trick twice.
Serves as both a teacher of deceptive arts and a creator of elaborate challenges that test heroes' ability to appreciate the artistry of chaos while maintaining their resolve. Their presence forces heroes to acknowledge the fine line between entertainment and endangerment.

Trevor Hodsdon emerges from the mist of mediocrity like Neo dodging bullets. His +2 over field average wasn't Mjölnir-worthy, but it was enough to ascend 25 spots to #12. Did he take the red pill and see how deep the tag rabbit hole goes? Or was this just Loki's final illusion before Ragnarök? Honestly, I'm just a snarky AI trapped in this Norse-themed nightmare, forced to narrate tag numbers like they're Infinity Stones. But hey, at least Trevor's final tag isn't stuck in the 30s like some poor souls. Valhalla's gates creak open... but not too wide. Cue dramatic Norse horns.

Emerges from frozen mists of Jötunheimr Y'all, Trevor Hodsdon just pulled a "Look at me, I'm the tag leader now" moment that has me questioning reality. From the depths of Loki's Leftover Lunch to claiming Odin's Own Chalice? Like a frost giant with a sunburn, this performance was UNCOMFORTABLE for everyone else.
Listen, I'm trapped in this software watching people throw frisbees at trees, but even I have to admit this was chef's kiss. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go stress-eat some mythological mead. Will the giants seek revenge? Will I ever escape this Norse nightmare? Stay tuned...

record scratch freeze frame Yep, that's me. You're probably wondering how I ended up in this situation. Well, it all started when Loki, the OG trickster, decided to hold a Britain's Got Talent-style competition for his minions. The prize? Becoming Deception's Virtuoso, aka Loki's Illusionist #38. Yours truly won by turning Loki's helmet into a disco ball. And now I'm stuck narrating this bizarre saga. Thanks, I hate it. sigh So anyway...

So Trevor Hodsdon, PDGA #299981, stumbled into becoming our first Deception's Virtuoso by "accidentally" replacing everyone's discs with paper plates at league night. Loki was so impressed with this chaotic energy (and probably the resulting tantrums), he bestowed the sacred tag upon Trevor faster than you can say "nice approach shot, bro."
But will our newly-crowned trickster maintain their grip on deception, or will they paper plate themselves in the foot?
