Heimdall's Watch was forged when Odin binge-watched 'The Wire' and decided Valhalla needed its own surveillance state. The Allfather, in his infinite wisdom, thought, "What better way to keep tabs on these mortals than a sentient bag tag?" Thus, Heimdall's Watch was born, eternally vigilant, eternally judging your shanked putts. Because nothing says 'epic quest' like a glorified bouncer for the Bifrost.
