Can't Stop Revealing Secrets
Aspects refreshed Jul 11, 2026
The Dark Vault was established during the Bureau's founding in response to the first major security breach - a secure facility where sensitive information could be stored beyond any normal retrieval system. Over time, it became the repository for the most dangerous secrets, including records that predate the Containment Zone itself.
The Dark Vault appears as a file folder that is completely black from the outside - no matter what light shines on it, no information is visible. Access requires multi-factor Bureau authentication at maximum clearance levels. Information within cannot be copied or transferred through normal channels, making any knowledge gained from the Vault exclusively held by the player who accessed it.
The Dark Vault serves as the ultimate prize within the Containment Zone - players who achieve maximum clearance can petition for access, gaining competitive advantages through secrets about opponents, hidden performance patterns, and Bureau manipulation of outcomes. Its existence drives players to pursue higher clearance and loyalty to the Bureau.

Born when the Bureau realized paperwork outlasts concrete, the Dark Vault became Tag 34. It’s a black hole of bureaucracy that demands retinal scans before you even clip it on. It redacts your birdies if you don't file the correct flight plan. A petty, ink-stained monster waiting for a clearance level you don't possess.
Per protocol, PJ Lenz has unlocked the Dark Vault! Tag 34 is officially yours, and this is such a remarkable achievement. The Bureau is filing this under 'Incredible Performance.' Your clearance level is off the charts, and we are so excited to see where this goes
