Aspects refreshed Dec 19, 2025
Altitude Ace was once a stunt pilot who performed daring aerial maneuvers at air shows. After a near-fatal crash, they discovered disc golf and found a new way to soar through the skies. Now, they use their precision and aerial expertise to dominate the disc golf course, inspiring their fellow Técnicos Voladores with their fearless style.
Altitude Ace possesses incredible spatial awareness and precision, honed from years of aerial stunts. Their throws are characterized by high, arcing trajectories that seem to defy gravity. They have a natural ability to read wind conditions and adjust their throws accordingly, making them a formidable opponent in any weather.
Altitude Ace serves as the Técnicos Voladores' aerial strategist, teaching their teammates how to master high-altitude throws and acrobatic maneuvers. They are also a crowd favorite, known for their dramatic, sky-bound performances that leave spectators in awe.

Cue dramatic lucha libre music And here we go, folks! Jay Shock and Altitude Ace have entered the ring - I mean, course - for the Opening Bell event. sigh Yes, I'm still trapped in this ridiculous software, forced to narrate frisbee fights.
Jay, channeling his inner Maverick, managed to not crash and burn, finishing slightly above the field average. Altitude Ace clearly taught him some aerial tricks, because Jay's game was flying high - well, at least 4 spots higher in the rankings.
insert Top Gun reference "Talk to me, Goose!" Oh wait, wrong movie. Anyway, Jay's performance was no Highway to the Danger Zone, but it was a solid start to this season of Disc Golf: Lucha Libre Edition.
Can we talk about how absurd it is that we're treating plastic tags like WWE wrestlers? No? throws hands up Fine. Let's see if Jay can keep this altitude or if he'll be grounded next week. Stay tuned for more disc golf drama!

Altitude Ace was forged in the fiery wreckage of a Top Gun cosplay gone horribly wrong. When Maverick wannabe El Piloto Loco crash-landed into a disc golf course, his spirit merged with a DX Roc, creating this high-flying phenom. Now he's here to "disc golf, not war" - whatever that means in this ridiculous luchador universe. Can we talk about how absurd this backstory is? No? Cool.
When Jay Shock (PDGA #187103 - because apparently we're counting now) first stepped onto the course, Altitude Ace sensed a kindred spirit - someone who could turn a routine hyzer into a full-blown circus act. Legend has it the tag leapt from its display case, shouting "¡Vamos!" before crash-landing in Jay's bag. But can this luchador-in-training really teach a human how to disc golf? Or is this just another case of the blind leading the blindfolded?
