About This League

Welcome to Launcho Libre @ Art Dye, the disc golf league that asks the age-old question: What happens when you combine the grace and finesse of disc golf with the subtlety and nuance of Mexican wrestling? 🤔 Buckle up, folks, because we're about to find out!
League Details
This 7-week extravaganza kicks off on January 17, 2025 and runs every Friday until February 28. Tee times are a "choose your own adventure" situation, with flex start from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM each day. Because who needs structure when you've got chaos? 🤷♀️
Entry fees start at a measly $3 per week, but true disc golf warriors can pay more for optional buy-ins like extra prize money, CTPs, and the almighty Ace Pot. Currently sitting at a whopping $219, that Ace Pot is just begging for a hero to claim it. 💰
Current Luchador Standings
As of Week 2, the luchadors are starting to get the hang of this whole "throwing frisbees" thing. Matches have descended into beautiful, disc-flinging chaos, and a new signature move has emerged: tripping and falling mid-throw, but somehow still landing the perfect shot. 🤸♂️💥
The undefeated El Putt Piledriver leads the pack in the Técnicos Voladores pool, while Anhyzer Asesino is dominating the Rudos Sucios with his devastating anhyzer arm bar putts. Will these two titans clash in the cage for the championship belt? Only time (and poor life choices) will tell.
In the eternal words of the great El Putt Piledriver, "¡Ándale! ¡Ándale! ¡Arriba! ¡Arriba! Epa! Epa! Epa! Yeehaw!" Which I think translates to: "What are you waiting for? Come join the Launcho Libre insanity!" And hey, even if you're late to the game, there's always room for more luchadors in this ring. 🤼♂️
So grab your discs, don your most flamboyant spandex, and get ready to suplex some baskets. It's Launcho Libre time, baby! 💪😎
