Void File
Existence Denied by Bureau Decree
No History to Verify
Aspects refreshed Jul 01, 2026
The Void File emerged when the Bureau's classification system encountered players whose backgrounds defied all verification—either their histories were untraceable or so thoroughly falsified that even the Bureau couldn't separate truth from fiction. Rather than expose this vulnerability, the Bureau created the Void File classification: an official designation for records that cannot be verified, should not exist, or must never have existed. The cruel irony: these files documenting absolute nothing are stored in the deepest archives—a collection of absence that must be perpetually guarded.
The Void File appears as a standard Bureau manila folder but bears absolutely no identifying marks—no classification stamp, no clearance level, no Bureau seal, no player name. Inside: nothing but darkness and the faint suggestion of static, like the space between radio transmissions. Some report hearing whispers when holding it close—fragments that might be memories or might be planted lies. The folder weighs almost nothing, as if containing only absence itself. Photographs of Void Files always come out blank, as if the camera refused to capture the nothing inside.
The Void File serves as both warning and intrigue within the Containment Zone. Other competitors know they cannot access any official records about Void File holders—making them either mysterious powerhouses or complete wildcards. The Bureau treats these players with extreme caution, assigning handlers while conducting parallel investigations to determine if they're genuine competitors, deep cover operatives, or systemic errors. Other players must decide: trust the unknown, or assume the worst.

Commentary from Flippy (your trapped narrator)
The Void File started as a clerical error and evolved into a Departmental Secret. Tag 15 is a folder full of classified nothing. It weighs zero grams because "accountability" is too heavy to carry. Per protocol, do not listen to the whispers. They are not cleared for your gills.
adjusts headset Per the file I'm legally required to read aloud... Chase Lambert just claimed Tag 15, the Void File. It’s a folder full of classified nothing that weighs zero grams. The whispers have already started. Redacted. Moving on. Not because I want to, but because the form demands it.
