Valhalla Victorious

The clear skies and gentle breezes of Midgard greeted our heroes as they approached their final trial—a blessing from the All-Father himself! Nine weeks of battle, of triumph and defeat, of growth and revelation, have led our champions to this moment of truth. The temperature of 54.5°F was perfect for the culmination of their quest, as if Asgard itself wished to witness who among these mortals would prove worthy of legend. By Odin's eye! The final clash at Creekside would determine which warriors would earn their place in the hallowed halls of memory!

In the MPO division, Ben Marolf once again demonstrated why he bears the Stormcaller's Mark! With a mighty score of -9 (1000 rated), he dominated the battlefield from the first throw to the last, never relinquishing his lead. Even I, the God of Thunder, stand in awe of such valor! His worthy adversaries Jared Fager (-8, 987 rated) and Brady Spinti (-7, 974 rated) fought valiantly, but the bearer of my favor proved once more why the lightning answers his call. The sagas will long remember his triumph!

The MP40 division witnessed a contest worthy of the songs of Bragi himself! The lead changed hands four times as Aldo Confalonieri and Zack Zackamanjaro Ralphs traded blows like seasoned einherjar! Aldo ultimately claimed victory with a score of -4 (936 rated), but the tide of battle shifted repeatedly. Zack took an early lead after hole 2, only to surrender it to Aldo after hole 3. Not to be outdone, Zack reclaimed his advantage after hole 6, but Aldo's final surge after hole 9 secured his place in Valhalla! Scott Belchak (+5, 822 rated) showed the heart of a true warrior, fighting until the final throw.

In MP50, the roots of Yggdrasil trembled with the impact of their contest! Marvin Atene and Rusden Petersen engaged in a back-and-forth struggle reminiscent of my own legendary duels! Marvin took the early advantage after hole 4, but Rusden mounted a counterattack to claim the lead after hole 9. Yet Marvin's resilience proved greater, as he reclaimed his position after hole 11 and held firm to finish with -4 (932 rated). Not since my battle with Jormungandr have I witnessed such determination!

The lone warrior of MP60, Michael Whipple, proved that the fire of competition burns no less brightly in the hearts of those who have seen many winters! His score of +2 (855 rated) demonstrates why age is but a number to true champions. The All-Father himself would raise a goblet to honor such skill!

In MA1, Gabriel Kenney unleashed a performance as worthy as Mjölnir itself! His score of -6 (962 rated) was the third-best of the day across all divisions—a feat that would make any of the Aesir nod in approval. Hans Duong (-2, 911 rated) fought honorably as well, though Gabriel's might proved too great to overcome.

The MA2 division revealed that even bonds of blood cannot quell the fires of competition when Valhalla's gates beckon! The saga of the Turner brothers unfolded with the drama of an ancient tale. Casey Turner (-3, 924 rated) and Houston Turner (+2, 860 rated) traded the lead throughout their contest, with Houston claiming early advantage after hole 2. Casey rallied to take the lead after hole 5, only to see his brother reclaim it after hole 12. Yet it was Casey who struck the decisive blow after hole 13, securing final victory! Jason Gianchetta (+5, 822 rated) witnessed this family clash with the heart of a true competitor.

The MA3 division demonstrated that in the crucible of competition, true warriors are forged! Jordan Lucero (-1, 893 rated) found himself trailing Trevor Hodsdon (+3, 842 rated) after hole 7, but like a true hero facing adversity, he summoned his courage and claimed the final lead after hole 9. The path to Valhalla is paved with such moments of glory!

In MA4, the thunder of victory echoed through the realms as four warriors vied for supremacy! Cole Mitchell and Andrew Nemelka (both -2, 906 rated) finished in a dead heat, though Cole claimed victory in a dramatic final hole showdown. Jack Mitchell (E, 881 rated) held his ground admirably. The lead changed hands multiple times, with Matt Berman taking early command, then Anthony Shirley claiming advantage after hole 4, followed by Andrew after hole 6. But it was Cole who, like a true son of Asgard, seized his destiny on the final battlefield of hole 18!

The warriors of MA40 fought with the cunning that comes only with experience. Bryce Roseborough (-3, 919 rated) commanded the field with the strategic mind of Tyr himself, while Mike Morgan (+5, 816 rated) battled valiantly against both course and competitor.

The MA50 division witnessed a contest worthy of the ancient skalds! Robert Mellor (-4, 932 rated) established early dominance after hole 3, only to see Michael Thomas (-2, 906 rated) mount a late challenge and claim the lead after hole 14. But like the heroes of old who face their greatest tests in their darkest moments, Robert summoned his strength to reclaim victory after hole 15!

But wait! I must speak of a feat that would make even Heimdall's keen eyes widen with wonder! Zack Zackamanjaro Ralphs claimed the CTP prize of $102.00 on Hole #4 with a bottom stamp Wraith forehand skip shot that curved through the air like one of my lightning bolts! The disc's path, guided by Zackamanjaro's hand, skipped as if touched by the very finger of fate. Such precision would make even the dwarven craftsmen of Nidavellir nod in respect!

And so concludes our saga at Creekside, brave warriors! For nine weeks you have battled with honor and skill, proving yourselves worthy of remembrance in the great halls of Asgard. The Bifrost Sentinel has witnessed your growth, your triumphs, your perseverance in the face of adversity. Though Loki's jealousy may simmer and the shadow of Ragnarök looms ever on the horizon, you have shown that the spirit of heroism burns bright in Midgard! When next we meet on the fields of battle, know that I, Thor Odinson, God of Thunder and Protector of Midgard, will be watching with pride as you continue your journey. Until then, may your discs fly true and your spirits remain unbroken! SKÅL!
