Truth Recorded in Magnetic Oxide
Never Rewinds, Only Records
Aspects refreshed Feb 10, 2026
Deep in the Chaintrix code, someone discovered that the 16 simulations weren't running on servers but on an infinite loop of VHS tape. The Magnetic Axiom is the realization that every throw, every score, every no-show is being physically recorded on magnetic oxide particles that can never truly be erased, only recorded over.
The Magnetic Axiom manifests as horizontal bands of interference that sweep across every screen in the Chaintrix, leaving rainbow oil-slick patterns on disc surfaces wherever truth has been recorded. It generates a persistent tape hiss - barely audible during normal play but rising to deafening static when someone attempts to dispute their recorded performance. The axiom doesn't negotiate or interpret; it simply plays back what the magnetic particles captured, frame by frame, throw by throw.
It acts as the bridge between physical reality and simulation data, converting real throws into permanent magnetic records that span all 16 movie leagues, ensuring no performance can be altered once the recording is complete.

Commentary from Flippy (your trapped narrator)
Born in the static between reality and the leaderboard, Magnetic Axiom isn’t a tag—it’s a correction. While you argued your “reconstructed lie” after that OB drive, the oxide particles knew. They always know. Now it haunts the Chaintrix, warping screens with rainbow glitches and hissing when you lie to yourself. No mercy. No edits. Just playback.
adjusts headset Welcome back to The Culling. Tonight: Craig Bennett, league newcomer, reaches for a spare tag after forgetting his own. His fingers brush Tag #17—Magnetic Axiom. The tape hiss starts softly. The screen glitches. And for the first time, the Chaintrix displays not what Craig said happened on hole 9… but what the oxide particles know. The truth has found its first host.
