Born from a water-damaged mixtape at the 1987 Beach Blast tournament when underdog player Ricky 'Rewind' Malone rallied his final round using its warped love songs. The cassette absorbed his determination, becoming an entity that manifests when competitors channel setbacks into personal anthems.

Properties

Manifests as a semi-transparent Walkman emitting magnetic tape ribbons that adapt ambient sounds into motivational 80s beats. Ribbons solidify into guide paths when players demonstrate perseverance. Strengthens with crowd energy but remains vulnerable to water exposure. Its warped audio can temporarily alter perception of obstacles.
