Origin Story

Born when ancient root energies fused with a Crest scout's enchanted tail during the Great Sap Surge. Evolved into pathway guardian after the scout sacrificed himself to stabilize volatile magic veins beneath Hagg Lake.

Properties

Composed of solidified root-light with mutable density that adjusts to terrain. Generates navigational pulses detectable only by Crest members. Can temporarily solidify root paths for traction but dissolves when exposed to raw timber magic.

Role

Maintains luminous root networks used in Crest training and competitions, projecting optimal paths through shifting terrain during disc golf challenges to enable rapid team coordination.
