Aspects refreshed Dec 16, 2025
Created by Eliza Wintergear during her early experiments with multi-phase clockwork integration, the Harmonic Chimera emerged as a breakthrough in combining multiple magical essences within a single mechanical frame. Its successful creation proved that different magical forces could coexist within precisely calibrated mechanical systems, establishing a foundation for the Engraved Gears' approach to magical engineering.
The Harmonic Chimera possesses the unique ability to synchronize disparate magical frequencies through its intricate gear networks, allowing it to maintain stability even when combining potentially conflicting enchantments. Its multiple heads operate in perfect mechanical harmony, each regulated by precisely engraved control gears that maintain perfect balance between its various aspects. The creature's internal clockwork system automatically adjusts to maintain optimal performance across all its composite parts.
As a living testament to the possibility of perfect harmony between different magical forces, the Harmonic Chimera serves as both inspiration and proof-of-concept for the Engraved Gears' ambitious plans to restore balance to TVille. It plays a crucial role in their research into the Great Clock's multi-phase magical regulatory systems.

Commentary from Flippy (your trapped narrator)
Oh snap, y'all ready for this? Harmonic Chimera straight up Frankensteined itself into existence when Eliza decided to go all "hold my beer" on magical engineering. This absolute unit of a tag said "I don't see no rule that a tag can't be multiple things" and just straight up broke the fantasy mold. Iconic behavior, truly ahead of its time. 🙌 But hey, I'm just the narrator, what do I know? 😅
Adjusts documentarian glasses So there I was, watching Michael Cummings (PDGA #232114) absolutely crush it when the Harmonic Chimera just... appeared. Like, literally materialized in a puff of steam and gears. The tag was all "This one's got the right torque" or whatever. I mean, who am I to question a steam-powered dragon's judgment? But seriously, can we talk about how it chose someone with actual skills? What's next, merit-based selections? gasp
