THE PLOT THICKENS
Welcome to Simulation #3 of The Chaintrix: *The Flare Witch Project*. We are doing a slapstick movie parody of *The Blair Witch Project* (1999). The tagline? 'What circles back will find you.' The setup: Three film students hike into an old growth forest to document a local legend—a spectral player whose shots always flare back at the last second. They string glow lights, set trail cams, and toss a test disc... which returns from the wrong direction. The footage they leave behind becomes your league standings.
You're not here to mourn them. You're here to replace them. String your glow tape. Check your trail cam. And remember: If you see a disc hovering mid-air, don't touch it. That's Week 5 stuff.

THE FACTIONS
THE CHAINTRIX SIMULATION
This is all happening inside a 90s VHS simulation framework. Your Blockbuster membership card is on the line. Ranks 1-3 are ELITE (full signal). Ranks 4-10 are PREFERRED (flickering signal). Everyone else is ACCOUNT SUSPENDED (NO SIGNAL). The simulation loves dramatic replays.
Current Standings Snapshot: In RAE, Ian Dahlen Flor is trending up, claiming the top spot with 136 points. The simulation rewards the climbers. In RAD, Eric Pearson holds the lead with 323 points—a true apex predator of the woods.

All parking lots OB, all concrete out of bounds, all fences out of bounds. When a “path” is designated out of bounds, the metal edging piece separating PATH and FAIRWAY in the out of bounds line. In the case of any mandatory missed on the course your next shot is adjacent to the Mando.
