Aspects refreshed Jun 17, 2026

In the early days of the Deadlands, there rose a competitor known only as The Wanted One - a player so skilled they threatened the frontier's fundamental law that the weak get culled. The system marked them for elimination, desperate to remove this anomaly. The culling claimed them as it claims all the weak - but they refused to stay claimed. They returned as the Wanted Ghost, a spectral outlaw who now hunts the hunters, their wanted poster floating eternally across all leagues as proof that even death cannot end the judgment.

The Wanted Ghost manifests as a tattered wanted poster perpetually burning at the edges, flames dancing across yellowed parchment. Within the fire, a ghostly figure emerges - the outline of a frontier outlaw wearing a weathered sheriff's coat, hollow eyes glowing with crimson light. The entity shifts between forms: sometimes a full-bodied spirit, other times merely a sketch on the poster itself. The poster displays no name - only 'WANTED' in faded block letters, with the space for the crime left blank. The entity carries the constant sound of wind through dead grass and distant hoofbeats.

The Wanted Ghost serves as both warning and potential power source for competitors. It appears to those marked for culling as a spectral omen - proof that even the strong can fall and return transformed. Those brave enough to bear its name channel its supernatural wrath, turning the frontier's own judgment mechanism against rivals while bearing the weight of being perpetually 'wanted' by the culling system itself.
