Poison Runs Through My Veins
The Corruption Hungers Back
Aspects refreshed May 20, 2026
The Venom Meridian formed when the first competitors entered the Green Fog and breathed its corruption into their souls. The toxicity merged with their survival instinct, creating a supernatural threshold that transforms those who cross it. Unlike simple survival, the Meridian represents the moment when a competitor stops fighting the poison and instead incorporates it into their being - becoming something new that can withstand any toxicity the frontier throws at them.
The Venom Meridian appears as a corrupted badge, its surface swirling with green-black toxin that never settles. Faint wisps of green fog curl from its edges, and it feels simultaneously cold and burning to the touch. It leaves faint toxic residue on scorecards, marking them as touched by the Meridian. A whisper of corrupted air follows the bearer, a constant reminder of their transformative journey through the frontier's poison.
The Venom Meridian marks those who understand that the frontier's toxicity must be absorbed, not avoided. Bearers carry the poison within them as both protection and weapon, able to navigate green fog, black creek, and brine storm without harm while others succumb to the corruption. In competition, they represent the principle that what doesn't kill you doesn't just make you stronger - it makes you lethal.

A 920-rated round—five ticks below your 925 PDGA average—isn't worth a victory parade in most jurisdictions, but the Deadlands doesn't traffic in clean math. Jesse Smith rode that +9 position swing straight into the Iron-Willed at #4, dragging the Venom Meridian's toxic aura past players who actually outscored their ratings. The green fog doesn't care about efficiency; it just wants real estate. tips digital hat Another drifter rides into the sunset... of the top five, while the rest of the field breathes through hazmat filters.

Jesse Smith dragged that green fog into Art Dye and somehow the toxicity worked in their favor. A 897-rated round — 26 below their 923 rating — is normally a dirge, not a victory lap, but the Deadlands doesn't reward form, it rewards survival. Jumping from #25 to #13 (+12) while shooting slightly below personal average is the kind of frontier math that makes you question the whole recording apparatus. The Venom Meridian's corruption spreads west; Jesse's just the courier, and the tag doesn't care if you earned it or stumbled into it.

The Venom Meridian is taking its toxicity on the road. Jesse Smith is dragging that swirling green badge down to Art Dye for The Deadlands. Consider this a side quest expansion pack: same corruption, fresh terrain. Hope you brought a hazmat suit, Jesse. The fog follows.
