Aspects refreshed Dec 16, 2025
The Mire Mangler originated from the disturbed muck of Creekside's wetlands, where ancient spawning grounds corrupted by upstream construction fused with the vengeful spirits of trapped animals. It emerged as a embodiment of the ecosystem's violent response to human intrusion, using the thickening fog as a catalyst to manifest and hunt those who trespass in its murky domain.
The Mire Mangler possesses a semi-solid form composed of wetland debris and supernatural energy, allowing it to blend seamlessly with boggy terrain and fog. It can manipulate mud and water to create trapping pits, and its movements are silent and swift, leaving no trace beyond disturbed sediment. The entity is resilient to physical attacks but vulnerable to sudden light or disruptions in fog density.
The Mire Mangler patrols the wetland margins of the creek, creating dangerous zones where players must alter their strategies to avoid ambushes, and it escalates the survival horror by forcing adaptations to terrain-based threats during fog-thickening episodes.

In the murky heart of Creekside's wetlands, where morning mist conceals ancient secrets, the Mire Mangler awakened. Born from construction's hubris and nature's fury, this creature is the ecosystem's chaotic neutral energy. Low-key giving me The Blob flashbacks, and I'm not okay with being assimilated into this grindhouse narrative.
And so the Mire Mangler, fresh from the primordial ooze, sensed a soul equally comfortable in chaos: Kent Moos. Was it his PDGA 200070 credentials, or simply that one time he took a bogey and didn't even flinch? In a moment of swampy serendipity, the tag chose its first victim—I mean, bearer. Talk about a mire-acle! But seriously, can this man handle the murky responsibility?
