Slime Surgeon
Corrupted Surgeon of the Glowing Creek
Provokes Creature Emergence for Research
Aspects refreshed Dec 20, 2025
Dr. Miranda Voss arrived at Creekside to study the unusual contamination patterns caused by upstream industrial disruption, but prolonged exposure to the creek's polluted waters began affecting her judgment and methodology. Her initial research into the creatures' biology evolved into grotesque experimentation as the contamination seeped into her own system, transforming her from environmental scientist into mad surgeon.
The Slime Surgeon appears as a corrupted medical professional whose once-pristine lab coat now drips with luminescent creek slime that seems to move independently across the fabric. Her surgical instruments have been modified with aquatic adaptations—scalpels that can function underwater, syringes filled with glowing specimens, and a stethoscope that amplifies the underwater heartbeats of approaching creatures. The contamination has given her an unsettling ability to remain functional in zero-visibility fog conditions.
She conducts field experiments during creature emergence events, using the chaos to collect specimens and test theories about the symbiotic relationship between fog density and creature aggression. Her presence indicates that the night's encounters will be particularly intense, as she actively provokes creature activity for research purposes.
