How Bag Tags Work in Our League 🥏

Bag tags are a fun way to track player rankings and add a competitive edge to our disc golf league. Here's how they work:

  1. 🏷️ Tag Assignment: Each player is assigned a unique bag tag with a number and custom artwork. Lower numbers are better!
  2. 🎯 Up for Grabs: In each league event, all participating players' bag tags are "up for grabs."
  3. 📊 Ranking by Performance: After the event, bag tags are redistributed based on players' scores. The best-performing player gets the lowest-numbered tag, and so on.
  4. 🔄 Tag Exchanges: If you outperform a player with a lower-numbered tag, you'll exchange tags with them.
  5. 🛡️ Defending Your Tag: If you perform well enough to keep your current tag number or better, you've successfully "defended" your tag.
  6. Inactive Tags: If you miss two league events in a row, you forfeit your tag.
  7. 🆕 New Players: Newcomers receive their tag at the end of the list after their first event.
🏆 Tiebreaker Rules:

In case of ties, we use the following criteria to determine tag distribution:

  1. Number of league events played in the current league (more is better)
  2. Average score across all events played in the current league (lower is better)
  3. PDGA number (lower is better)

🏁 End of Season: At the end of the season, your final bag tag will be permanently displayed on your ElevateUT Disc Golf Leagues account as a testament to your performance.

Remember, bag tags are all about friendly competition and bragging rights. Good luck, and may the best player earn the #1 tag! 🥇

Twilight Seer's Origin Story as told by our Narrator
Twilight Seer

Adjusts frost-bitten collar, voice gravelly with memory

I've seen a lot of strange things in my years investigating supernatural phenomena, but that winter solstice at Art Dye... shakes head slowly The juniper grove's always been a nexus for the unexplained, but that night? The moonlight hit those ice formations like nature was solving a puzzle we weren't meant to understand.

First came the temperature drop - sharp enough to freeze your breath mid-sigh. Then the moonbeams started dancing through those ancient junipers, refracting through ice in patterns that'd make sacred geometry look like child's drawings. And there, in that convergence of starlight and frost, Twilight Seer took form.

The evidence was there in the morning - perfectly geometric ice formations around every basket, each one whispering secrets in crystalline code. Tag #17 wasn't just born that night - it was ordained by whatever forces govern the thin line between our world and the next.

Now it moves through Art Dye like a living riddle, leaving frost-written prophecies for those clever enough to read them. And believe me, after twenty years chasing winter spirits, I know the real thing when I see it.

Keep your eyes on this one, folks. In my professional opinion? We're just beginning to scratch the surface of what Twilight Seer knows about our little league's destiny.
