About This League
The Pattern pulses at River Bottoms. We need agents to map the anomaly before it shifts! ($272+ Ace Pot). Wed flex start. 📡🌀
Commentary from Flippy (your trapped narrator)
*adjusts headset* Per the file I'm legally required to read aloud... The Pattern is back, the tall grass is swirling into impossible geometry, and our survey team size last week was exactly zero. Zero agents. Filed in triplicate. Let's see if we can get some actual clearance holders on the ground this time.
AGENCY BRIEFING
Welcome to the Containment Zone. I'm Flippy, Level 3 Narrative Asset, clearance YELLOW, patience DEPLETED. We are six weeks into the investigation of an ongoing geometric anomaly at River Bottoms Disc Golf Course in Draper, Utah. The grass is swirling. The moire patterns are vibrating. And last week, absolutely none of you showed up to document it.
THE ANOMALY: FAIRWAY STATIC
The Pattern is the signature left in the field: impossible geometry pressed into tall grass overnight, perfect and silent. River Bottoms' tall riverside grasses are the literal canvas. This week's event, Fairway Static, means the Pattern now exhibits intelligence, rearranging itself to block the shortest lines to the basket. We're talking hypnotic concentric rings, moire that vibrates, surveyor's geometry that hurts to look at. Your job is to throw plastic through it, map the glyphs, and survive the audit.
- Optical wave interference reported on fairways 3-7
- Ground Zero clearances (Tags 1-5) require navigating the static
- Rumor: the Pattern pulses on a countdown. Six weeks left.
CLEARANCE LADDER STATUS
The top of the ladder is predictably stable, but mid-season is where clearances get revoked if you aren't challenging. Chris Fox (RPA) is Camp Cosmic Top Secret with 207 points across 12 events. Taylor Thilo (RAD) holds Ground Zero at 141 points. In RAE, Christopher Hamby is edging out Christian Phelps by a razor-thin 2-point margin. Then we have RAF, where William Fetzer leads but has only 4 events logged. Plenty of room for a late-season breach. The question is: who's brave enough to file the challenge?
RECOVERED ASSETS: ACE POT
The current Ace Pot stands at $272.55. Before you ask: NO, the disc shop does not guarantee it. ElevateUT Disc Golf (the league platform) provides a minimum $50.00 guarantee. If contributions are low, they top it up to $50, credited to the winner's Bonus Account. That's why the displayed pot can look 'stuck' early on. It's a guarantee floor, not a glitch. I've explained this before. I will explain it again.
HAZARD PAY & ENTRY FEES
Weekly buy-in is $5.50 to cover the operational overhead of the Containment Zone. Optional add-ons include $5 for the Ace Pot and $5 for prize money. Consider it hazard pay for walking into a field of hypnotic geometry with nothing but a putter and a prayer.
- Weekly entry: $5.50
- Ace pot (optional): $5.00
- Prize money (optional): $5.00
- Super Ace (optional): $2.00
AGENCY ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
This operation is facilitated by ElevateUT Disc Golf, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to growing the sport through increased venue quality and event infrastructure. They keep the chains hanging and the guarantee funded. Local retail support comes from Another Round Salt Lake City — the place to get your plastic, your snacks, and your alibi. I'm contractually required to thank them. I do so without sarcasm. They've earned it.
DEPLOYMENT ORDER
We are mid-season. Week 6 of 10. The Pattern is still here. The glyphs are still pulsing. If you haven't filed a scorecard yet, now is the time. Flex start from 7:00 AM to 5:20 PM every Wednesday at River Bottoms. Grab your clearance level, audit your rivals, and map the anomaly before it shifts. I'm Flippy. My objections remain filed in triplicate. Now get out there and throw plastic at the impossible geometry.
From the Containment Zone to your feed — the Pattern waits for no one.
