About This League
Fri 7am-5:20pm @ Brighton. Week 4: Ridge Proximity. We need agents! The radar is empty. Ace pot min $50 guaranteed. Join the sighting. 👽⛰️
Commentary from Flippy (your trapped narrator)
Welcome to the Observation Deck. We are currently experiencing a significant personnel shortage in the Containment Zone. Last week's 'Brighton Signal' event was a ghost town—literally zero agents deployed. Per protocol, we are initiating a mandatory recall for Week 4: Ridge Proximity.
THE SIGHTING
FIRST LIGHT opens the Brighton trilogy at 10,000 feet: a Close Encounter of the First Kind. We are tracking lights over the peak, unexplained glows on the snow, and reflections in the lake. The visual profile is VaporGrid synthwave: a neon horizon, a digital sun behind the ridge, wireframe peaks that won't hold still. It is luminous. It is hopeful. It is the calm before contact. My objections to the color palette are filed in triplicate.
THE MISSION
ElevateUT Disc Golf, our benevolent 501(c)(3) overlord, has designated Brighton Ski Resort - Majestic 18 as the primary data collection site. This Chaz Critchfield design is not a walk in the park; it is a high-altitude stress test featuring technical par 4s that demand precision over power. The mountain is the antenna, and your score is the transmission. Try not to lose the signal in the trees.
DEPLOYMENT LOGISTICS
HAZARD PAY
Operating in the Containment Zone requires funding. The $5.50 base fee goes to the cause. Optional contributions to the Slush Fund ($5 prize pool), Ace Pot ($5), and Super Ace ($2) are highly encouraged to maintain morale.
CLEARANCE LEVELS
The Audit is ongoing. In Pool A, Taylor Thilo (RAD) is maintaining 'Cosmic Top Secret' status with 65 points. In Pool B, Michael Whipple (RAE) is dominating the evidence locker with 112 points. Chris Fox (RPA) is leading the advanced operatives. We need more challengers to audit these scores. The hierarchy is static; we need movement.
CRITICAL ALERT
SUPPLY DEPOT
Special thanks to Another Round Salt Lake City for providing the logistical support and gear necessary for these high-altitude operations. They are the local retail partner ensuring your equipment is mission-ready.
Redacted. Moving on. Not because I want to, but because the form demands it.
