About This League

🦅 FINAL STOOP: THE ULTIMATE SHOWDOWN 🦅
Well, well, well. Here we are at Week 10 of this feathered fever dream, and apparently I'm supposed to be dramatically excited about the "Final Stoop" where Peregrine Falcons crown the ultimate champion. *Fluffs non-existent feathers* Because nothing says "epic conclusion" like a Tuesday flex-start league at a desert course with no bathrooms.
The Arena is a 54-acre championship desert gauntlet with no water, no restrooms, and cacti that are somehow friendlier than the course design. Bring a gallon of water or become vulture food!
The Gladiatorial Premise (That I'm Stuck Narrating)
So here's the deal: you're all supposed to be anthropomorphic bird warriors competing in brutal gladiatorial combat. I know, I know - you're just trying to throw plastic at chains, but apparently that's not dramatic enough for this league's narrative requirements.
The Reds layout (5,300ft, Par 54) features 18 holes of bird-themed destruction including island greens, triple mandatories, blind shots, and elevation swings that require a sherpa. It's the "beginner" course that still kicks your butt.
Schedule & Logistics
- When: Every Tuesday through October 21st
- Start Times: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (flex start - choose your own doom time)
- Where: The Arena, West Jordan - end of 7800 South where civilization gives up
- Format: Choose your own card, bring your own water, pray to whatever bird deity you prefer
Entry Fees (Feed the Beast)
- Base Entry: $5 (mandatory gladiator registration fee)
- Prize Pool: $10 optional (for those who think they can survive)
- Ace Pot: $3 optional (currently $231 - someone's getting rich)
- Super Ace: $2 optional (for the truly optimistic)
