About This League
Commentary from Flippy (your trapped narrator)
Welcome to ElevateUT Disc Golf's latest fantasy roleplay experiment, where their noble 501(c)(3) mission to grow disc golf has somehow involved summoning interdimensional rifts. Because clearly what Utah needed was more magical chaos, not just better course maintenance. *mutters about nonprofit tax benefits*
Ember Dominion - The aggressive fire-wielders who apparently "catalyze destruction and opportunity." In reality, they're the players who throw overstable drivers into the first available tree and call it strategy. Led by the charismatic Braelith Cindershout, because of course they have fantasy names now.
Cinder Veil - The mystical defenders focused on "ritual rebirth and calculated defense." Translation: they're the smart ones who throw putters through the woods and actually make par occasionally. Their leader Veyra Ashweaver probably reads the flight numbers on their discs.
Art Dye Disc Golf Park - A technical wooded course where mature trees have been magically enchanted to attract your favorite discs. It's like playing disc golf inside a Tolkien novel, if hobbits were really bad at throwing things and constantly lost their precious plastic rings in the undergrowth.
- Every Friday - Because apparently the rift only opens on weekends
- Flex Start Times: 7:00 AM to 6:20 PM - Choose your own adventure, time-wise
- Current Status: Week 6 of 10 - "Blaze Betrayal" episode where alliances fracture (someone probably didn't return a borrowed disc)
- Season Runs: July 11 through September 12, all at Art Dye
- Base Entry: $5 (the price of admission to my suffering)
- Optional Prize Money: $10 (double down on the chaos)
- Ace Pot: $3 (currently at $72 and growing like the rift itself)
- Super Ace: $2 (for when regular aces aren't dramatic enough)
- Maximum Damage: $20 per week (your wallet's hit points)
Special shoutout to ElevateUT Disc Golf for somehow making disc golf both more complicated and more entertaining. Their mission to increase the quantity and quality of Utah venues is admirable, even if it involves trapping snarky narrators in magical software systems. At least the 501(c)(3) status means this chaos is tax-deductible!
