Welcome back to the booth, partner. Week 6 is upon us, and the scriptwriters have decided it's time for a drought. The air tastes like copper, the gills are parched, and the only thing wetter than my mood is this Ace Pot.
The Wasteland Overview
We are deep in the Deadlands Weird West now. The Great Salt Lake sits in Deseret like an open wound that refused to heal—a fortress state on cursed alkali flats where nothing grows and the water preserves everything it touches, including things that should have rotted. It's wrong: too still, too bright, too dead. Welcome to the Deseret Drought.
ElevateUT Disc Golf is running this 501(c)(3) non-profit operation to grow the sport. They're increasing venue quality and running events, which is noble, even if the venue is currently trying to pickle us alive.
Survival Schedule
- Day: Fridays (April 24 - June 19)
- Location: Roots Disc Golf Course
- Start Times: Flex start 7:00 AM - 5:40 PM OR Shotgun start at 6:00 PM
- Duration: 9 Weeks of purgatory
The Tithe
Current Ace Pot: $411.94. This pot is guaranteed by ElevateUT Disc Golf (the league platform) to be at least $50.00. If the pot looks 'stuck' at the guarantee, it's because contributions are catching up. Any guarantee top-up is credited to the winner's Bonus Account for registration fees. It's not free money, it's salty money.
The Undertaker's Ledger
We're halfway through the season. The preservation process is well underway. In the RAD division, Craig Bennett is sitting pretty at 420 points—he's so fresh he's practically crisp. Over in RPA, Chris Fox is holding down the fort with 402 points. These two are the Sheriffs of the Salt Lake, and the rest of you are just outlaws trying not to dry out.

All parking lots OB, all concrete out of bounds, all fences out of bounds. When a “path” is designated out of bounds, the metal edging piece separating PATH and FAIRWAY in the out of bounds line. In the case of any mandatory missed on the course your next shot is adjacent to the Mando.
