Week 5 · Homestead Steam
Welcome to the finale, partners. The 'Final Spike Driven' is here, and the train is slowing down just long enough for us to see who's still on board. Spoiler: Last week was a ghost town, and I'm talking to myself in this booth.
This is it. Week 9 of 9. The 'Hell on Wheels' series is pulling into the station. We're at The Wasatch Wunder, a mountain course that offers scenic views and soul-crushing elevation in equal measure. If you're going to make a move for the Sheriff's Badge, now is literally the only time left to do it.
Located in Wasatch Mountain State Park, this course is a beast. 18 holes of alpine paradise mixed with technical nightmares. Expect creek crossings, rocky outcroppings, and wind that whispers your failures. It's a PDGA Blue-level layout, so bring your A-game or your 'I'm just here for the views' attitude.

The Ace Pot is sitting at $50.00. Why? Because ElevateUT Disc Golf (the league platform) guarantees a minimum of $50.00. That's right, the platform is putting up the bounty, not the disc shop. If you hit an ace, the first $50 is credited to your Bonus Account (registration only). If contributions exceed the guarantee, the cash goes to the winner. Go break the curse.
The series is ending. The standings are set, mostly. Chris Fox (RPA) is sitting pretty with 577 points, and Craig Bennett (RAD) is holding down RAD with 761. Are they safe? In the Deadlands, nobody is safe until the final spike is driven.
The railroad is the spine of the Weird West — every mile paid in blood and ghost rock. Rival companies laying iron across haunted territory, racing to complete the transcontinental line. Mobile towns on flatcars — lawless, violent, temporary. Ghost rock-powered locomotives that move too fast and burn too hot. The competitive arc is a pure, vicious race. Every week the line extends and the shortcuts get more dangerous. The train stops for nothing.
