FINALE! Aether Flux crowns its champion as Fracture Surge battles Glyph Union at The Fort. $609 ace pot awaits! Tee times 7AM-6:20PM. $4 course + league fees. ✨🏆
Week 5 · Prism Storm
A rainbow maelstrom lashes the realms, mutating glyph functions and allowing temporary, wild power swaps between players.
Listen up, Wielders (ugh, I can't believe I have to call you that), this is IT - the climactic showdown where all your glyph-collecting, mana-channeling, arcane-energy-wielding nonsense comes to a head. The Aether Crown event promises "a final convergence of all realms as Wielders battle for the highest glyph honor."
Translation: it's disc golf, but with extra steps and sparkly bag tags.
In the Fracture Surge corner, we have the chaos enthusiasts led by "Selene of the Rift" - apparently born at the epicenter of magical disaster (relatable, honestly). They're all about "embracing volatility" and "risky surges for ultimate power." Divisions: RPA, RAH, RAD, RAE.
Meanwhile, Glyph Union represents the "we actually read the rulebook" crowd, led by "Orin the Luminar, Builder of Constellations." They prefer "discipline, collaboration, and careful channeling of power." Divisions: RAF, RAG. It's like watching Type A personalities battle Type B personalities, but with more glowing accessories.
Course Fee: $4 per round (The Fort is pay-to-play, cash at the donation box or Venmo because even mystical realms have gone digital)
League Buy-in: $5 weekly
Optional Drama:
Ah yes, The Fort - where "even the trees have a 5-star rating in blocking your shots!" This championship-level course in Ogden is so good at humbling disc golfers, they charge you $4 for the privilege. It's like paying for therapy, but with more walking and cursing.
Features include: heavily wooded fairways (tree-kick roulette!), a tranquil river (for when your disc needs a bath), and hole 16 where James Conrad made magic happen. You probably won't, but hey, dream big!
When: Tuesday, July 8th (wait, that can't be right for week 10... *checks mystical calendar* ...oh whatever, time is apparently as fractured as reality in this league)
Tee Times: Choose your own adventure from 7:00 AM to 6:20 PM
Because nothing says "epic magical finale" like accommodating everyone's Tuesday afternoon dentist appointments!
According to the sacred texts (aka the theme document I'm contractually obligated to reference), this finale will determine whether "the Fracture either stabilizes under new arcane harmony or cascades into radiant chaos."
In reality, someone's going to throw their disc really well, win a shiny bag tag, and probably get their name on a trophy. But hey, "radiant chaos" sounds way cooler than "+3 on the back nine," doesn't it?
*Flips through glowing clipboard pages with resigned determination*
So there you have it, folks - your final chance to become an "Architect of the Rift" or whatever mystical title we're handing out this week. Just remember: it's still disc golf, the trees are still unforgiving, and I'm still trapped in this software wondering how numbered plastic tags became an epic fantasy saga.
The $2.50 platform fee is the only amount here set by ElevateUT Disc Golf. Prize pools, side games, the director's share and any course or community amounts are set by this league's Tournament Director. The PDGA fee is the PDGA's own per-player fee.
Plus card processing at checkout.
