Week 8 at River Bottoms showcased the soaring potential of rising stars, with Houston Finch leading the charge through a masterful -12 performance that towered 72 points above his rating. The MPO division witnessed a thrilling display as Cooper Johnson's impressive -11 kept the pressure on, while Afton Bodell continued her remarkable ascent in FA2 with a round that exceeded expectations by an astounding 69 rating points.

The altitude theme of the series proved fitting as multiple players reached new personal heights. Jonathon Marshall's -6 in MA40 and Spencer Livsey's -8 in MA1 demonstrated exceptional control in the challenging river bottom terrain. Austin Lott added to the day's excitement by claiming the CTP prize of $45, though his overall performance landed at even par. As we approach the final two weeks of this high-stakes series, the field's elevation-defying performances have set the stage for what promises to be an electrifying finish to the season.
