Fox shot 47 points above his 925 rating. Two different routes to the same summit, and the scoreboard just shrugged and wrote "T1."

Thomas Sautel took 3rd at -1 with sole birdies on holes 6, 9, and 17 — all Solstice Cut holes — plus a three-birdie finish from 16 through 18. Tyler Hodges gutted out +5 for 7th, bouncing back from a +2 hole 9 with a birdie on 10 and a 2-under stretch across 10-12, though the Super Ace hole (7) cashed him out at +3. Sautel lost only +1 there. File that hole under "recurring antagonist."

The Treaty Held, The Lead Did Not 📜

Aaron Prestgard won RPA at -3, 952-rated, 4th overall — after a seesaw with Clayton Rackham that neither man seemed to want to win. Prestgard took the lead through hole 5. Rackham took it through hole 10. Prestgard reclaimed it through 13, and then Rackham bogeyed 13 and quietly excused himself from the conversation, fading to 5th. Prestgard's front nine ran 5 strokes better than his back, but he closed with a clean, bogey-free back nine and the sole birdie on hole 4 (Par 3, 363 ft) — the only sub-par score anyone managed on that hole. The Accords promise consequences for poor play. They apparently also promise consequences for good play, since Prestgard led through 18 and still faded to 4th in the pool. Bureaucracy is undefeated.

The Quietest 48-Point Heist 🕵️

Zack White was the only player in RAD. He still shot -4, 962-rated, 3rd overall, and posted sole birdies on holes 5 (Par 3, 312 ft) and 14 (Par 3, 362 ft) — both Solstice Cut holes — with a bogey-free front nine. A 914-rated player torching his number by 48 points in an empty division is technically a crime scene with no witnesses. Round of the Day in RAD, obviously. There was no one else to give it to, but he earned it anyway.

Cash Line Hero, Meet Cash Line Heartbreak 💸

Kellan Brooke won RAE at +5, 871-rated, locking down the last cash spot at 1st — and he did it by pulling even with Ene Betham through hole 13, taking the lead through 14 when Betham bogeyed, then posting sole birdies on hole 7 (Par 3, 264 ft) and hole 12 (Par 4, 383 ft) in The Thicket Overspray. His back nine ran 3 strokes better than his front. Kelly Hall and Betham tied at +8, 841-rated, T2 — and finished just outside the money, which is the most bureaucratic sentence I've written all week. Betham's sole birdies on holes 2 (Par 4, 521 ft) and 6 (Par 4, 436 ft) were the only sub-par scores in the division on those holes, which makes the ending sting worse. Kieran Buhler finished +14 for 5th, 97 points below his 878 rating, with OB penalties on holes 6 and 10 — though he salvaged a 39-foot C2 putt on 11, because even the cursed get one good moment.

The Cold Streaks Are Coming From Inside The Card 🥶

Kayden Iacona won RAF at +9, 831-rated, 4th overall, in his first league event. He trailed through hole 3, took the lead through 8, extended it through 13, and closed on a six-hole par train from 13 to 18. Front nine ran 3 strokes better than the back. Zachary Jeffers, also making his series debut, finished +15 for 6th, 770-rated, 45 points below his 815 rating, and survived cold streaks on holes 8-10 and 12-14. Two rookie arcs launched in the same card, both of them fully signed and fully on the hook now.

Rating Massacres And Rating Miracles ⚖️

The extremes: Zack White at +48 above rating, Chris Fox at +47 above rating. On the other end, Kieran Buhler at -97 and Zachary Jeffers at -45. Doug Kueser's bogey-free round was the only clean sheet of the day — a Smooth Sailing performance in a field where everyone else found at least one bogey to apologize for. The Solstice Cut surrendered unique birdies to Prestgard (hole 4), Kueser (hole 6), Sautel (holes 9 and 17), and White (holes 5 and 14). Both pools run AllIn — every tag reshuffles on standings, no defenses, absence equals demotion. In The Solstice Cut pool, the #1 Curse Current went to Chris Fox on the strength of that 972-rated 53, climbing five spots from assignment six to first place. The Curse Current is the Accords' living network — a river of sickly green-black energy that coils around baskets and leaves wet, ink-like residue wherever it passes, humming at a frequency only signatories can hear. It left that residue on every basket Thursday. It is not being subtle. In The Thicket Overspray pool, the #1 Harsh Citation went to Kellan Brooke after his RAE win. The history file titles this week's chapter "Treaty Signed, Ink Slick Rising," and the ink stains suggest this treaty isn't just paper deep. Nobody defended anything in Week 1, because nobody could. That's the design.

Week 2 they'll be reading fog.
