The Permafrost Watcher emerged from the first eternal ice that formed on the Himalayan peaks, created by the mountain spirits to guard sacred knowledge. Over millennia, it absorbed the wisdom of countless lost expeditions and ancient civilizations that sought the Yeti's secrets.

Exists as both physical and spiritual entity, able to manifest from ice and snow at will. Contains ancient glowing runes within its form that hold forgotten knowledge. Can sense disturbances in the permafrost and communicate through glacial vibrations, with limited control over localized weather patterns near sacred sites.

Serves as the Himalayas' eternal sentinel, monitoring all who enter the sacred peaks and subtly guiding or misleading them based on their intentions, working in concert with the Whiteout Guardians to protect the Yeti's domain.
