The Scroll Marauder was born from a forbidden ritual performed by Katarina Novak, leader of the Arcane Seekers. Using fragments of ancient texts and the essence of a cryptid, she created this entity to infiltrate sacred libraries and consume their knowledge. The Marauder's existence is a testament to the Seekers' disregard for the sanctity of ancient wisdom.

The Scroll Marauder is a spectral entity composed of swirling parchment and arcane symbols. It can phase through physical barriers, making it an ideal infiltrator. Its touch disintegrates ancient texts, absorbing their knowledge directly into the Arcane Seekers' archives. The Marauder is immune to conventional weapons, requiring magical means to combat.

The Scroll Marauder serves as the Arcane Seekers' primary tool for extracting and consuming ancient knowledge. It infiltrates sacred libraries and archives, destroying texts to uncover the secrets of the Golem's creation, furthering the faction's goals of controlling the Golem's power.
