Once a renowned game hunter in the Philippines, they became obsessed with capturing the legendary Tikbalang after a terrifying encounter left them lost in the jungle for weeks. After successfully trapping and displaying three Tikbalang specimens, their reputation reached Raven Blackwood, who personally recruited them to apply their unique disorientation-countering techniques to the ultimate prize: Sasquatch.

The Tikbalang Trapper employs specialized bamboo and carbon fiber snares designed to withstand the immense strength of horse-headed humanoids, which have been adapted for the larger Sasquatch. They carry a collection of rare herbs and resins that neutralize a cryptid's ability to confuse human senses, allowing them to maintain perfect orientation even in the densest, mist-shrouded forests. Their most prized possession is a bridle made from the mane of their first Tikbalang kill, believed to confer dominance over any forest entity they pursue.

Within the Apex Hunters, they serve as Raven Blackwood's specialist in countering cryptid misdirection tactics, systematically dismantling the natural defenses that have kept Sasquatch hidden for centuries. Their methods directly oppose the Wildwood Guardians' protective illusions, making them particularly effective at penetrating the deepest, most protected territories where Sasquatch seeks refuge.
