The Salt Veil appears as a shimmering curtain of suspended salt crystals along course boundaries, glowing with an ethereal blue-white luminescence in twilight. It responds to rating changes - when a player approaches curse thresholds, the Veil in their vicinity grows more transparent, revealing spectral glimpses of supernatural consequence. The Veil emits a faint hum that players describe as 'hearing the paperwork' and feels cold to the touch but leaves a burning sensation like concentrated salt. It forms most prominently along out-of-bounds lines and water hazards, turning every risky shot into a potential crossing point.

The Salt Veil serves as the living boundary determining when a player crosses from the mortal game into the Accords' supernatural jurisdiction. As players' ratings decline toward curse manifestation thresholds, the Veil surrounding them grows increasingly transparent, providing visible, audible, and visceral warnings that supernatural consequences approach.
