Welcome to the estate, courtiers. The invitations are out, the wine is poured, and the plastic is ready to fly. Week 1 of the Silk and Teeth league begins with the Velvet Invitation.
The Season Premiere
Welcome back to the booth, where we treat a Tuesday league like a supernatural coronation. This week, we kick off 'Silk and Teeth,' a docuseries about disc golf, hunger, and the terrifyingly polite society of vampires. We are at Tetons 9-hole, but narratively? We are deep in the halls of Valley Regional, where the front nine is a ballroom and the back nine is a slaughterhouse. The players are heirs and courtiers, and I am the narrator stuck in the basement watching it all on CCTV.
Tonight's episode is 'The Velvet Invitation.' The politeness is at maximum capacity. The smiles are wide, but the hunger? The hunger is just starting to rumble. Remember, under the Salt Lake Accords, a bad round isn't a lack of skill—it's a death curse from a rival faction. At least, that's what you tell your rating.

The Salt Lake Accords
We are bound by the treaty. The Salt Lake Accords theoretically keep the peace between the Wizards, Faeries, Vampires, and the Dead. Tonight, the Night Court (Vampires) holds sway. Keep your eyes on the bag tags—they are the Accord Seals, and losing one is a political incident. We'd like to thank our retail partners at Another Round Salt Lake City for helping us arm ourselves for the hunt.
