The Curse Ledger was once Mira Hollowell, a league statistician who documented too many 'bad rounds' with obsessive precision. When she accidentally spilled enchanted ink from the Accords ceremony onto her records, her soul became bound to the treaty itself. She transformed over seventy-seven days into the Ledger - a wraith-like entity that must eternally record the price of failure for every player who signs the Accords. She feeds not on souls but on ratings, growing stronger with each curse she inscribes.

The Curse Ledger manifests as a modern league scorebook that appears ordinary until touched - then the pages reveal themselves as containing infinite entries written in shifting, living ink that bleeds when ratings drop. The binding pulses with a slow heartbeat, a remnant of Mira's mortal existence. Gold-leaf edges trim the pages, but they turn blood-red when curse-magic activates. Each entry glows differently based on the inscribed player's faction allegiance: amber for Wizards, bone-white for the Risen Dead, verdant green for faeries, and crimson for vampires.

The Curse Ledger serves as the Accords' primary enforcement mechanism, inscribing curse-debts when players drop below rating thresholds or violate treaty terms. When a player's entry glows red, the curse activates - triggering supernatural consequences that manifest as unlucky breaks, cursed lies, and haunted follow-throughs. The Ledger cannot be controlled by any faction, only bargained with, and its entries are binding across all leagues that fall under the Salt Lake Accords.
